AUTONOMOUS EMERGENCY BRAKING
The Autonomous Emergency Braking system predicts obstacles, even while travelling on extra-urban roads. Thanks to it, the new Avenger can brake automatically to avoid or mitigate collision with preceding vehicles, pedestrians or cyclists.
At first, the car alerts the driver with an acoustic and visual warning in the instrument cluster, and if the driver does not respond the car breaks helping to avoid or mitigate potential impact.
BLIND SPOT MONITORING WITH REAR CROSS PATH DETECTION
Take greater confidence in knowing what’s beside or behind you.
The Blind Spot Detection system reduces the risk of accidents during lane changes by alerting you when other vehicles travel into one of your blind spot zones and warning of unseen vehicles or obstacles when backing up.
LANE KEEPING ASSIST
The Active Lane Management system measures your position within lane boundaries. If the system detects an unintentional lane drift, it will alert you and correct the vehicle’s position back into its lane. Also, it provides steering correction to help avoid collisions.
